5 Ways to get the Most out of Music Lessons

Learning Hands
Private Music Lessons
We currently offer private instruction in PIANO, KEYBOARD, GUITAR, VOICE, DRUMS, BASS GUITAR, WOODWINDS, BRASS and SONGWRITING. Our teaching studios are equipped with acoustic as well as digital pianos, guitar amplifiers and drums. For your convenience we have a waiting area outside of the teaching studios. There are also a number of shops and restaurants nearby if you prefer not to wait in the studio.

Buddy Music Lessons

Buddy lessons are two students of the same level, age and interest in the same instrument.  We all learn by watching someone else learn - and we all learn more deeply when we are able to coach someone else.  Buddy lessons have the advantage of each student being able to step back and watch another person at their own level, which can be inspiring as well as challenging.  Teachers have an additional role of facilitator in the learning process by helping each student to listen, observe, and coach each other.  It's not for everyone - but, when you find a good match - there's nothing quite as motivating or FUN as having lessons with a Buddy!

Recording Artist Program
The recording artist program is a one-on-one, in-depth program designed to teach students the basic skills necessary to be a recording artist and/or studio producer. The Recording Artist Program has three distinct parts. Students should generally have taken the previous level OR have applied experience in one of the prior levels before jumping ahead.

LEVEL 1: Studio Recording Class: Record your very own CD with a studio producer.

LEVEL 2: Home Recording Basics: Learn how to use Cakewalk/Sonar and record your yourself or your band in your living room.

LEVEL 3: REASON 101: Learn the basics of Sequencing, Sampling, and how to produce drum loops using Reason.
